Before we delve into the fantastic experiences we had during our recent visit to Lower Drayton Farm, let me take you back to when we first discovered this gem. Even before its refurbishment in 2020, Lower Drayton Farm had been a go-to place for us. Its serene countryside atmosphere and friendly staff always made it a pleasurable experience. Now, after its refurbishment, it has become even more captivating, making it a must-visit destination for families.
We were invited down to Lower Drayton farm to experience the Dino Maze event that they have going on this summer, and let me tell you, we were not disappointed! From the moment we stepped foot on the farm, the kids were beaming with excitement.
One of our first stops was the outside animal area. The kids couldn’t contain their delight as they fed grass to the friendly goats. It was heartwarming to see their faces light up with joy as they interacted with these adorable creatures. They couldn’t get enough!
Next up, we ventured to the zip line. We watched in awe as our little ones fearlessly soared through the air, their laughter echoing throughout the farm. The bouncy pillows provided even more entertainment, as the kids joyfully bounced and giggled to their heart’s content.
Inside the barn, the kids had a blast on the slides. They slid down again and again, their smiles growing wider with each turn. But the excitement didn’t stop there. Lower Drayton Farm offered a wide range of activities for little explorers, including Dino activities. The kids enthusiastically coloured in pictures and searched for fossils in the sand.
But the real excitement came when we took a tractor ride to the Dino maze. As we entered the maze, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of adventure and anticipation. The kids eagerly led the way, it wasn’t long before we found ourselves lost amidst the towering hedges.
And what awaited us on the other side? Dinosaurs! The kids stood in awe as they encountered these realistic-looking creatures. Teddy was convinced they were real and even attempted to feed one. It was a moment of pure innocence and wonder that we will cherish forever.
After a day filled with activities, we headed back indoors to the play area. The kids couldn’t resist the temptation of climbing structures and slides, their energy somehow still going strong.
But the highlight of their day came in the form of a foam party back outside. As foam filled the kids eagerly jumped into the sea of foam, giggling and shrieking with delight, completely covered from head to toe. It was messy, it was silly, and it was the perfect end to an unforgettable day.
